Does anyone know if Visa's are issued for year stays from India.

UK Guy. Currently in Thailand, but going to India for a year. Then want to return for a yearon 3 month renewable visa's like now. Or can I onlyget this from UK ?

Question is, why would you qualify for a non-immigrant visa?

I am currently planning to get a non-O visa from here in India. Rather than schlep up to the consulate in Chennai only to be disappointed I've asked the outsourcing company that handles visas for clarification on this. I'll let you know what they say if and when I get an answer.
