This sealant helps I know.

We have used it in our large all terrain vehicles and it has worked well.

I know these guys also have a 'Highway Version" too

It's true that many mechanics/shops/maintenance experts recommend changing a tire after as low as 3 years after manufacturing-date. (Which is a good conservative practice).

However, based on statistics, the accident numbers actually begin to significantly increase at the 6 year mark.

Maybe the 3 year "expiration" takes into account the fact that a person may use the tire for another 3 years after date of purchase... total of 6 years? :o
