Calling Thailand From Uk With 18185

Featured Replies

Sometimes when I call a friends mobile it's more expensive than at other times. Is this because they might be on an island? It's normally 1p per minute but sometimes 1.5p per min.

I'm not really worried about the extra cost, more I was wondering why the difference? Has anyone else experienced this or perhaps know why?

Also will a mobile phone still have a ring tone if there's no reception for them?

Thanks

ps tried searching but couldn't see this topic re my Q.
