Ijustwannateach
I'm fairly low-maintenance, medically- I have a cold once in a while, or an inflammation or a bad stomach. I'm fairly satisfied- at least at the moment- that my medical coverage through work is good enough. But what troubles me is the chance of really big accidents or illnesses- how will I survive financially if I get a very severe cancer, or brain tumour, or get hit by a car and become paralyzed? While it is possible my family would help take care of me, I really wouldn't want to rely on them. Is there a type of insurance which insures only against these types of extreme problems- which would require a lot of money, and yet have much lower odds of happening than say, the need to visit the local GP? What would it be called? How much would it cost? Is it really something that people should worry about having?
ThaivisaInsurance
This is critical illness but fortunately living in Thailand the regular ‘Premium’ coverage is normally sufficient.
