Tot Adsl - Cant Get Overseas Sites Today

Featured Replies

Anyone else having this problem with TOT ADSL? Can look at Thaivisa and other sites hosted here, but nothing outside the country. Has someone inadvertently flicked a switch or unplugged something vital at TOT HQ?

Yes, I am having exactly the same problem.

Chris

Same same

:o Same here. I guess someone at TOT is not peddling the byke with the dynamo on fast enough!.

This is happening more often these days than it used to. I noticed it getting worse about 3-4 months ago.

:D

Me too - but, in a way, glad to know that it's not just me!

Thaivisa is hosted in Singapore, so it isn't everything outside Thailand, but yip, I can't get most things on a US or UK server.

same same as every one else

same here in pattaya

hope they'd fix it soon

Same problem here ( Pattya TOT )

I've tried the TOT help lines in the vain hope of gettng some info but you won't be suprised to hear that both numbers were constantly engaged.

Sriracha hub - 038319183

TOT tech - 038416075

FIXED NOW!

Pattaya TOT.

Back in business at 15.06!

+1 before google.co.th worked and now thats gone aswell, uk/euro/usa sites have been hit n miss since about 9am

Ah just got a UK site up that 2 hours before didn't work....................

Yep it seems to be back to normal

Someone must have found that international router under the desk on the powerstrip had the switch kicked off.

Just gone tits up again - Buffoons!

Yep, back down again.

Just ran a traceroute on bbc.co.uk and it gets blocked at 218.188.105.33 which is in Hong Kong.

Every site in Singapore seems to be accessible.

Many websites outside of Thailand don't work for me, either.

When I go to speedtest.net, Bangkok's server is not on the map. Hmmmm......

it's ok now

I'm sure once it's fixed, we will get the usual full explanation, an effusive apology and an offer of compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Dropped the ball AGAIN! :o

i am finding that google chrome seems to be working better than ie7/8.how strange unless its a microsoft thing

Dropped the ball AGAIN! :o

Right, in Pattaya you get only Thai-Sites!!!

Now its not INTERNET, now its THAI-NET!!! :D

They don't need farangs!!!

Dropped the ball AGAIN! :o

ToT never has really picked it up... That dam_n ball has been bouncing around on the ground for months (if not years).

Are TT&T having the same problem?

Are TT&T having the same problem?

I don't know about TT&T but I use my DTAC connection as a backup and it works fine. ToT has been a waste since I had it installed.

ToT's own website doesn't even load.

Same in Phuket - No (or very few) international sites working with TOT ADSL. The problem seems to go away every hour or so for a few minutes :o

Speed test returns a reasonable result, so what's going on?

Last Result:

Download Speed: 1062 kbps (132.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 367 kbps (45.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
