Does Cat Cdma Work In Ko Chang?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know for sure whether or not CAT CDMA works in Ko Chang (Trat province)?

Planning an island escape, but it looks like Ko Chang is covered by Hutch. However, it's not clear at all whether or not there is now a data roaming agreement between the two. The Hutch website coverage map features a "by CAT CDMA" icon...

I will call CAT but if anyone knows, let me know...

Thanks, Dave. You are right, called CAT customer service - very weird experience, first you "press 9 for english" then you get a huge menu from 1 - 9 all in Thai, then a lady speaking perfect english answered after I pressed 0 - TIT :o

Anyway, she told me that it doesn't work in Ko Chang or anywhere in the east or Bangkok. The area poisoned by Hutch extends as far as Pratchuap Khiri Khan, Chumpon is the first province where CAT works.
