Global rates and bids so US the prices seem low and in Thailand you would probably be on the bell curve.. Of course lots of Chinese / Indian competition..

I know a couple of people who have solid web skills and now they have a portfolio they do 'ok' out of this.. For freelance / casual work it seems interesting.
