I am actually going to travel for a year or so and then think about where I will re settle.

The reason I am selling up has nothing to do with my finances, it is just getting rid of the "stuff" that keeps you bogged down. I am wanting the freedom of carrying what I own, instead of posessions owning me. I think we all lose sight of what really is important.

The Tsunami has not made me rethink Phuket, it has just sped up my plans as I was always going to leave here this year anyway. Phuket will bounce back and I will always have a home here as I will somewhere else.

I have recieved a lot of pm's and as stated in my post, I will be leaving in February end and I will contact all of you 2 weeks prior to going. Those that have enquired first will get first preference.

This is not a fire sale and I wont be selling everything at stupid prices (some bargains), I would rather give it away than haggle with stupid bids.

In the next week or so, I will put the prices in this thread as it will be easier for all that are interested. I should of done that first I guess

sold: BMW (2.4 mil - bargain!), 48 inch TV, camping stuff, gym, motorbike , DVD's and DVD player with surround.

BTW, I am in Phuket, not Bangkok. I thought that was pretty obvious but there you go.

Spend 600,000 building a two story shop house type and you have a house close to Nai Harn beach and all the restaurants and bars for around 1 mil.

I do have quite a few land plots, but I am going to let the land sit there for a year or so as I want to get away. At this point in time, they are not for sale.
