Is a 9 months old income confirmation letter from the Embassy (original) still acceptable for the Immigration? Was issued AFTER I got my last extension of stay.

I was told by Kap Cheung Immigration that it must be less than 3 months old.

Please note that from reports on here, it seems that most imigration offices have different agenda's and are MORE stringent than the office I use IMHO

I would suggest you take the letter to your Immigration office and ask them? If the office is close to you that is.

I did this last year for some added comfort. My letter was only 5 months old though.

Different Thai Immigrations offices seem to have different criteria for how long the letter is good before it becomes "stale" requiring a new letter..

About the only thing you can do is as another poster suggested take your letter in and see if they think it's "past the use by date" in their eyes.

As a note to "benz123" perhaps actually stating your nationality might garner a reply to your query. Countries have different requirements for proof of income verification, and as you pointed out some countries don't issue them at all.
