keff
I am soon going to be commencing work in BKK and in a few months time, my family will join me. What would the procedure be? Thanks
Mario2008
You will apply for a non-B and make sure you get an anual extension of stay from immigration. Your family can apply for a non-O based on visiting family and once they are in the country they can then apply for an anula extension of stay based as your dependends, provided you are on an extension of stay yourself. (This also presumes your child is still a minor). If your child goes to school in Thailand he/she can get a visa based on education, your wife can get a visa as dependend of your child if she has 500,000 in a Thai bankaccount. Lite Beer
As Mario said. You would have to be on Anual Extensions for your family to do the same. Otherwise it is Visas meaning they would have to leave the country every 90 days and return. This is the Police Order concerning Extensions.
