ponder
Is it true that there will be a general election in Thailand on 6th February 2005? And if so, will entertainment spots (bars, I mean) be allowed to open? Just my luck to be arriving in Bangkok on the 5th...
Ajarn
The issue I think is not about opening, but about alcohol sales on election days, which is prohibited. Some places choose not to even bother opening if most of their income comes from alcohol sales... Of course, there always seem to be some exceptions to the law.. TiT. And, yes, the last confirmed date I heard was Feb. 6th. Edited January 19, 2005 by Ajarn
