The best one I have come accross is the free youtube downloader, you do need java installed on your machine, but it is excellent.

When you are in you tube, you don't even have to go into the vidoes web, just right click on the link and copy the link address and paste it into the youtube downloader

saves you haveing to waste bandwidth
