Hi, what would be the cost to hire a driver on a monthly basis?

It will be basically to drive around the city from 7.30 am to 7pm.

Thanks

At 8-10k a month he better be safe, my friend has a driver, his number one rule no Drink on the job, he pay Bt11500 per monthy. A good driver, rode with them to and from Airport and around town. :D:o:D

When I first moved to Bangkok, I contracted a driver from an employment agency for a few months until I got used to the driving chaos in Bangkok (I now drive myself around).

The official working hours per labour law was 8am to 5pm Mon - Fri. If my driver worked those hours only, i.e., no overtime, then it would cost me about 11,500 baht per month including the agency fee. If the driver was required to work additional hours, then overtime would be charged in accordance with the labour law.

On average I ended up paying about 15,000 per month due to overtime.
