Australian Prospective Spouse Visa

Met my fiancee, November 2007, and asked her to marry me late December.

She had to get divorced which took until December 2008.

She had the health check - 100% okay

Police check from her home city KK - 100% okay - not good enough needed it from BKK - 100% okay - right on!!!!

Notice of intention to marry - not okay needed to nominate a date - catch 22 - didn't know when visa would be issued so couldn't pick a date - made a date - all good

provided half a kilo of documents plus a CD of photos - email records, banking, telephone accounts

lodged on 24 February

interview on 13 March

additional paperwork requested 18 march

Visa granted 25 March

We are over the moon

Now to book ticket to Melbourne

Yeah. I had issues with picking a date as I thought it best for the missus to settle in first. We ended up selecting a date just to get the paperwork through but then changed it to something more suitable (within the time period allowed).
