Hong Kong Or Macao - Getting A Thai Tourist Visa?

Featured Replies

Thinking of doing a trip/visa run to Hong Kong and Macao. Anybody have any advice which would be easier to get a Thai tourist visa and the way to do it?

I'm thinking of bringing my girlfriend (she hates songgran). So on a related question it seems that Thai nationals do NOT need a visa to visit both Hong Kong and Macao can anybody confirm for definite if this is correct?

Cheers

Tricksy

For Hong Kong and Macao no visa is required for a Tghai national, as long as the stay is shorther then 30 days.

Can't help you on the visa question, but know that Vientianne gives double entry tourist visas free.

I can confirm she will NOT need a visa for HK or Macao if she's staying there a short time.

Don't forget that the Thai Consulate will be closed for the Songkran holidays.

Hong Kong are not the easiest people in the world to deal with. They are often way behind the latest regulations. I would seriously email first.
