Motorbike Box/trunk. Where To Buy?

Hello TV, does anyone know where to by a motorbike Box/trunk on the island?

Something that will provide a little more storage on the bike, and safe keeping for the helmet.

Something like this

Bonus if it has a passenger back rest attached.

Make of bike I'm looking to attach it to is a Honda Click.

Can't help you with the box mate but if you like to store or carry a bit more a small trailer would be a good idea

as for any honda dealer having a box, the one I went to didn't (Thepkasattri Rd. going into Phuket town just before the last light before the big 3 footbridge intersection.) No box at that dealer

Last time I looked, the Honda dealer in Patong had them (but that was probably 8-10 months ago). They're located at the south end of town on Prachanukhro Road, just a little west of where Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee road terminates.

Yeah an echo that the Honda in Patong (on the Karon rd / nanai junction to beach rd section) had a range of givi cases a few months back..

Seen them in a few dealers in Phuket town and IIRC in supercheap too.

Yep i was in the Honda shop (Patong) a few days ago they had 2 sizes left. Thought they where a bit expensive around the 15k for the largest 1

15K ouch! hmmm some of the ones off the web for the uk and us do go for around 300 bucks.... still ouch.

Yes these are the real givi sets.. They are not 200 baht thats for sure..

I have a issue with shopping in supercheap, its just too hot and full on for me.. But I do remember them there one of the few times I went (months ?? Maybe even years) ago.. And I bet Thais are not paying top dollar there.

I think that's the shop just past the Robinson traffic lights, on the left, heading towards immigration. Sells car accessories.

No no ... it's a car accessories shop, at least that's what I think the previous poster is talking about. From the lights going towards Immigration Office it's about 5 or so (a guess) shops on the left.

Well, actually I meant the small motorbike helmet shop. They have boxes in different sizes and colors, and are also helpful in putting it on your bike (at least they helped me..)

Its called a top box.

And you will need a base plate.

And also the rack to prop up the base plate.

The pillion or passenger back rest, as you called it. I call it pillion. Can either be purchased separately with a sticker backing or you might want to screw thru your box to secure the cushion.

Some boxes will have the cushion already stickered on, or fixed on, depending on the box production companies and depends on the bike companies requesting for such fixes to complement their bike's look.

The Honda Shop in Kamala had some in stock just before Songkran. For the box and fitting 2,800 bht. The box is the same in the picture that you provided....
