March 31, 200917 yr Trying to get paperwork together for retirement extension based on income. I am applying to the British Embassy, by registered post, for a Proof of Income letter. Songkran (Easter) holiday coming up, so want to get things sorted out in good time for trip to local immigration office early May. Any experience of how many working days British Embassy take to process and return by EMS? Thanx.

Judging by their prices it will probably come by Bell Jet Ranger to your front lawn, but whether the pilot will work weekends is a matter for better minds than mine. (ps: don't forget the documents have a limited efficacy timewise, so don't get it too early either.....)

March 31, 200917 yr Hi, I've done it for the last 3 years and it's normally around 5 working days. This year I posted it on the Tuesday and got the letter back on the Sunday. I can't comment for all immigration offices, but Kanchanaburi have had no problems with mine when it's been dated the previous month.
