Work Permit Needed For Flight School?

A stupid question, I know. I didn't post this in the visa forum on purpose since most likely none of the visa experts know an answer to this, but I'm wondering if anyone who has completed their pilot license in Thailand knows if you require a work permit for the flight school in Thailand? I'm guessing not, since it's not really "work" but learning something. But then again, you sometimes need a work permit to open a bank account at some branches, so who knows.

I'm guessing here, but i think its similar to a Divemasters course for scuba diving.

And that doesnt need a WP, so i assume that learning to fly will be the same
