My Windows Mobile Can't Read Thai

Featured Replies

I bought the Samsung Omnia 8gb overseas, so it doesn't have Thai language support.

Is there any where I can download the Thai language support?

Everytime I receive an sms in Thai or surf a thai website, it looks like alien language.

I had the same problem with the Motorola V9 I bought in HK. You're going to need a language pack firmware modification that depends on the exact version of firmware installed on your phone already. This is not something you should attempt by yourself, assuming you're not an expert at this kind of thing (the wrong firmware, even different firmware for the exact same model will 'brick' your phone). Are you near Bangkok? If so, take it to MBK or somewhere similar. If not, go to one of the specialist 'modding' forums (for Samsung phones) and ask someone there to help you out. They might well have to complile a language pack for that exact firmware.
