Evdo Card Users

I am sick and tired of this bullshit TOT cutting me off every 30mins starting from 2pm everyday. i have lost over 20 000baht this month because of this bullshit. So i am buying an EVDO card. (need to rant)

So those of you who have one, are your speeds acceptable(over 20k/s) ANYWHERE?

what about disconnections, what kind of frequency do you timeout on peek hours?

Does your card perform at any location? i had CAT's old system with a tricked out cheap phone.. the max i got was 5k/s and ever since i moved i got MAXIMUM 1k/s and massive disconnections, i think i was too far from an access point?

My cellphone has all the lines on its signal does that mean i should have an acceptable stable connection? i dont need speed or anything, just 0 disconnections.. i can deal with disconnections when theres a tornado or thunderstorm though.

i am about 3-4km away from the CAT's building downtown phuket town
