Hi all,

not that I am planning to apply for a role in BKK any time soon (maybe in a few yrs down the track), but I'd appreciate your input (preferably someone in the industry) on the Thai job market (demand) for quants. I've been browsing Thai jobsites for some time now and it seems like there are not many such roles on offer at all. Are (derivative) asset pricing and risk management integral functions at Thai financial institutions' treasury departments and trading desks? If so, how big are they (based on what I've seen on the job boards it's like 1 quant role vs 100 general finance roles - that's quite a low ratio even for other small domestic capital markets)?

Appreciate any relevant posts.
