Cpu Is Working Near Collaps

Featured Replies

since a few Days, my Computer is working absolutely slow

my CPU shows me highest Rates, but I do not have many Programs running, just Firefox and Google Crome open for browsing

how can I see, what makes my CPU so hard working and my Computer so slow?

how can I improve the Rate of the CPU?

thanks for any help

Please provide the specs for your CPU

Assuming you run a Windows OS -

Use ctrl-alt-delete key combination the task manager will open. You can right click the taskbar as well and open Task Manager.

Look for a Tab named "Processes".

This might give you a very first hint what might cause that heavy load.

Go to: http://www.whatsrunning.net and download the program Whats Running. It's an advanced Taskmanager which will show you much more than the Windows Taskmanager. And while use the right click on an program file or so, you can al;so get the infos online what that prog is about.

You can also download from TV Download the small program NA-Detector which display's the in- and outgoing traffic for to see you have some animals in your computer.

Hope that helps.

Cheers.
