Maxnet Internet

Featured Replies

I have just had maxnet internet installed and is working OK.

The downside is that my wife (Thai) signed a contract on 6th March, to be told

the sales people would contact her to advise on installation date. After two weeks

she had heard nothing. Therefore I took up the process to find out why we had heard nothing.

I telephoned and telephoned 1103 to be forever put on hold following "I will transfer you".

When I got to speaking to somebody I was asked, what is your telephone number

that you are using for the internet. I replied to the same question from many people

" I am not connected, and I don't have a telephone line", "How therefore do I get a telephone line?"

Eventually, on 26th March I went to a Maxnet booth with the same question. We got connected

on Monday 30th March. At that time we were told that they will also connect the telephone line.

On the day of connection we were asked to test the telephone. Result! Didn't work, wrong

equipment provided for telephone link up.

My wife was told they would be back in two hours. Then she received a phone call to be told

one week. It is now a week gone, we are still not connected for a telephone. Money paid in cash

when I went to the booth. Today 6th April and nothing. I am totally baffled and disappointed.

i don't really see the trouble if you're connected to the internet, some adsl line don"t have a number and this saves you 107 baht a month.

Yes, but I think they use the telephone number as the index to your details in their database. I know ADSL works without the telephone facility, but do the people who designed the Maxnet database? :o
