You need your notebook and wireless connection to explore the world around you?

I've heard it all now

I dont know where you are BearHunt, but Starbucks can be a good spot. Their Wifi is a little extortionate, but you do get free electric and the staff in Starbucks are usually pretty cool and helpful to foreigners (the one's i've been in anyway).

Starbuck is a good place If your stomach can cope with their coffee :o

And if you can cope with their outrageous wifi fees.

Gulliver's Soi 5 has a goof wifi service and open at 10am when it's quiet and you can read the Bangkok Post?nation and photocopy foreign papers for free (well, buy a coffee for 50THB.). And it's smoke-free.

I don't know if the wifi extends to the outside terrace, there are usually stinky people out there so I never tried it.

This is a list of tourist areas that have free Wi-Fi, it may give you a few ideas
