Hii, I just called the Phuket airport immigration office about taking re-entry permit from airport. They confirmed that they are not issuing re-entry permit anymore. Rather they asked me to go Phuket town or Patong immigration office instead. Since Patong is near from my place, I would like to go there. By the way, does anyone know how much time they need to process the re-entry permit and stamp into the passport? Should an hour be ok for them? Or do they need days? Thanks in advance.

It is usually done on the spot. Depends how busy they are.
