I've seen a few older postings on visas out of the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet and Vientiane. Does anyone have recent news of the facilities or speed bumps at either of those locations for 60 day tourist visa and Non-Immigrant visa. What are the addresses and phone numbers?

When I went to Vientiane last year, they had put a new restriction in place that if your passport has 4 or more tourist visas in it, they won't give you one. Saw two people in line get hit with it. Rightly or wrongly, they think such people are working in Thailand and thus using tourist visas illegally. They don't want any proof that you are not working, but rather just say to such people not to come back.

I went to Savannakhet in late Nov and had no probs getting my second tourist visa from there. Although they did suggest that next time I should apply for a Non-Imm visa.

I am a only tourist who stay thailand long months, I dont have any

documents. such as marriage or something.

Can I get Non-Imm visa in laos or any other place around thailand?

No, probably not without any paperwork.
