One Year "o" Visa

Can anyone help me??

I have been in Thailand For over a year now. I am traveling on a "one year visitors type "o" visa" I am a British citizen and i dont want to return home to apply for another years visa! does anyone know if i can apply for another year visa in a nearby country to save a journey back to the UK? Is it possible to apply on Singapore? Has anyone applied in a nearby before and managed to get a new visa? Please Help!!

You can not obtain on those grounds in any Consulate in this area. One or two Consulates in Oz might be a possibility; but Hull in the UK is one of the very few that will still issue on those grounds. You will not obtain in Singapore.

On what basis were you issued the visa? It is normally only available to those on retirement or with immediate Thai family members.

You could get a Education visa from one of the language schools. You would a have to take the Thai lessons.
