LivinLOS
Of course its possible... I suspect it will be very expensive and may not pass emissions when it gets there.. Dont Yamaha sell the Fino as a 'vino' in the states ??
Kf6vci
Don't even think about it! Your bike needs to be on a list of "approved" bikes - or you can forget it. I imported a Yamaha SR 500 limited edition, one of 400. although the SR was sold for decades and some years in the U.S., I was only getting 12 months. In San Diego, the dock workers charged over $ 500 and that was 2002 or 2003. NTSA? I forgot the name of the agency, but they demanded to do a crash test which would have destroyed my bike. Just for get it, do yourself a favour!! Chris
themchuoisu
LOS, they have the Vino, but nothing looks cool like yamaha Nouvo or Honday Blade. I used to live in VN and love the Super Dream They sell Zuma, Vino, and other ugly looking ones with small tires. Chris, I agree with you that these bikes are not approved in the states. I plan to have it to drive around town. I don't think they will give me a hard time without a tag ( i hope). Do they charge import taxes at the port? I thought we can ship by boat to a port, and they just call us to pick up. The rest of the story is between the buyer and the DMV ??? themchuoisu
That's a not a bad idea. Honda will be selling the EU model SH150i starting June 09 for $4500. Do you guys think I better off with this option?
