Web Copy Writer

Featured Replies

Looking for a writer for web content.

We provide turn-key websites with content for IT services companies that service small business. The work is taking basic templates and core client information and editing and/rewriting to make the template specific for the client. Examples would be typical company information such as: About Company, Team Bios, etc.

Details

  • There are about 10-15 edit or re-write elements to each new client.
  • The typical time would be 2-3 hours total - this would go down as our templates improve and experience goes up
  • Right now we have 2-3 clients a week to process. This will grow to 5 but be less than 10.
  • Need turnaround within a few days

Requirements

  • Native American English - most clients are American so if not native you need to be able to write in the vernacular
  • Quality output - good web copy, clean and crisp. Minimum of work for our editor
  • Dependable and flexible. The work will come in waves at times so you need to adjust with us
  • Understanding of small business technology is a plus but not a requirement
  • Good skills to be able to do something such as read a LinkedIn profile and write an interesting bio

I want to pay a flat rate. We could try for 10 or so clients and see if it's working. Payment via PayPal.

Writing samples helpful. The rate could depend to the extent you add value to the writing. For instance in the specifics of the clients services that's where the IT understanding can be helpful.
