Anyone Got A Cheap Vehicle To Rent?

Featured Replies

My pick-up is being used in BKK for a few months, and I need to rent a cheap car on a month-by-month basis.

Does anyone have a reliable car available? Make/style etc totally not important... manual or automatic is ok.

Thanks

Simon

Gerd, only me! The pick-up has gone back to BKK because mad ex is returning to BKK to sell papaya in the wholesale market (her older sister whom I kicked out of the hotel last year is making very good money doing this already, so W. is going to do the same....)

I have the Toyota Wish for my staff and customers, but need my own car for when I travel to Patong for my TPV work etc. Will get it class 1 insured in my name only.

Simon, I have a similar situation. My car has gone into the shop for some extended work. So, I looked in the gazette for private persons renting cars. Mostly they are newer cars or a couple years old, like vios or Saluna.

Best deal I found is 15k/mo..

But, I know some private persons in the villages will rent older corollas for around 12. Don't think yo can find anything cheaper than that unless a Suzuki jeep maybe or diahatsu or something

Simon, let me think about it....

You know my Cefiro, as I am using the company car every day he's standing very lonely in my garden.

I know a great company.. 2 of my friends have used him and he really prefers expats to tourist.

He delivered the car, ON TIME, and comes every 2 weeks to wash it for you for free and check it.

His English is great and my friends were happy with the price. Forgpt what she paid for 1 month..

He has no month prices but here is his website

His phone is 0816078567

Let us know how it goes and if you got a good deal.

Thanks Gerd and everyone else who can suggest a cheap solution :o It's just a set of wheels that I need so that there is always a car available at the hotel for customers when I'm not at home.

Buddy rents a small car (usually vios once a jazz) for 15k a month fully insured.. Some twonk drove straight into the back of him and the rentor came out with a new car and took the old one away without a word or even asking for an excess etc..

If 15k is acceptable I can get the tell for you..
