Gibbo
My Fiancee intends to send her Fiancee visa application form and copies of all relevant documents by post to the U.K. Embassy in Bangkok. Could someone advise us on the best way to send the Visa fee. She does not have a bank account, so is cash OK? Can I give her a cheque from my English bank account to post? Thank you for any help in advance. Regards Gibbo

the scouser
Gibbo, The fee is £260 payable in local currency and the embassy sets its own exchange rate (cost is currently 19500 baht). Unfortunately a UK cheque is not acceptable to the embassy, they accept only either cash (baht) or a banker's draft drawn on a Thai bank. Scouse.
