Learning Thai.

Featured Replies

I would like to learn Thai. do any of you have any recommendations, what are the options, schools etc. :o

The only real way is to go to a language school and then you need to go out there and practice, practice, practice.

Many language schools here are only a few years old and run by opportunists out to make a quick "buck". One of the longest running and possibly the most reputable is Patong Language School which is Thai owned and has been in buisnes for over twenty years.

Forget the packs of cd's; teach yourself books!!

There is a lady called Joy who advertises in the Gazette. One on one. #Excellent.

Thanks for the input, still not sure ! I feel a school would be the best for me , maybe part time but the thought of journeys over the hill to Patong, may not live long enough to speak Thia. :o
