a friend of mine has a 3months single entry Non O visa it expires on feb24th,on april 6 th he is leaving Thailand to germany,his problem is he needs to extend his driving license on march31st,so what is the best way for him to do,go out to Penang get another Non O 3 M or what to do?thanks for any suggestions

His stay ends on Feb 24 but he does not leave until April 6 and he needs to renew his driver licence in March so must be on a non-immigrant visa at that time so believe he should try to obtain a new O visa from Penang but have not idea if he has any chance of getting it from information provided. If not just get a tourist visa and don't drive between the 31st of March and April 6? Then get new licence when here again on a non-immigrant visa.

Hi Lopburi,thanks for answer,and thr driving license office they told him if he is not coming on March31st they will not give him a 5 year license,right now he is on a 1year license,so i guess he has to go to Penang again,hmm
