Good morning,I am looking for a running shop in Phuket.Need to get new shoes, unfortunately its time toretire my nice asics after 800 - 1000 km.I have been to the shops at jungceylon andthat's not what I am looking for.I am sure the runners out there know what Imean Happy Sunday and thanks in advance

There is a New Balance store at Jungceylon.

Probably the largest selection of shoes is at the Sports World at Central but not sure about their selection of Authentic running shoes.

I like Montrail running shoes and can't find them here so, buy them online and have my sister ship them to me here.

There is usually some sales reps at the Laguna marathon every year selling some things (shoes included)

Maybe they will also be a the triathlon which is coming up soon i believe.

Or, could you buy them over the phone from a store in BKK and have them sent down???

I had more like a running shop in mind, capable of doing a real treadmill analysis. Over the past 1.5 years in Phuket I got the feeling that my running style has changed. So I want to pick some new shoes based on a video analyzes. Anything in Bangkok? Where do all the guys that run the Phuket Triathlon, Laguna Marathon getting there gear from?

That sounds awfully sophisticated for Thailand. Maybe they get their shoes the old fashioned way. a 10 m sprint in the shop?

Do they sell a lot of stuff? I'll be coming to that from Vietnam, even worse for sports stuff then Thailand. Looking for shoes and power gels/bars.

I guess they order online or bring with them from abroad.

Supersport at Central sell Asics but you find them cheaper in Singapore or online.

I have unfortunately never seen a shop doing tredmill analysis either in Thailand or any of the neighbour countries.

Believe you have to contact a sportsmedical institute in Singapore for that!
