How Much Windows 7 Will Cost?

How much Windows 7 will cost?

The latest info I was getting while asking for the cost of the new Windows 7 from Microsoft are as follows:

Windows 7 Starter: $199

Windows 7 Home Premium: $259

Windows 7 Professional: $299

Windows 7 Ultimate/Enterprise: $319

Those prices are NOT confirmed!

But if that prices are true, which means the original Microsoft price, then the OEM's will be below 50% of that cost's regarding the structure of the prices in the past!

All we've to do is to wait for Microsoft and after the the OEM's to submit the Stree Prices for than OS.

Cheers.

80 to 100 baht I've heard .... :o More if it's on DVD.

We don't talking about pirated copies on Thaivisa, it's against the rules!!

Hi :o

Is this the prices in the U.S. or will that be in Thailand? Because (as with XP/Vista) they are likely to cost at least twice that here in Thailand. "As is" that would be less than 12k Baht for Ultimate. Vista was 26k when it came out......

At this rate i would get an Ultimate OEM. But i am SURE the price won't be that "low", not HERE.

Best regards.....

Ya right, but it s ok to ask how to download free music or get invite to private torrent tracker.

Anyway, as i've always said, if they didn't charge such extortionate prices for their software,music,films................. perhaps most of us could afford them and we wouldnt want to risk buying from the underworld, will they never learn?

Can you name another software company that charges less for software of equal size and complexity?

Besides, when you buy a new computer, which is how 95% or more of people get their (legitimate) copy of Windows, you're paying about half that.

Edited by surface

How much are we going to pay to upgrade from Vista Home? Or will it be better to stay with Vista and not waste any more money?

YES, that is ok because FREE means NOT a pirated copy and there is a lot FREE stuff outside there!

There also torrent trackers which are used by humans for to store and share legal contents.

As long as there isn't illegal contents mentioned, we try to see everything with our "good" eye and not the bad one.
