I believe now it is the Summer season with a little rain, then next is the rainy season with summer like heat.

Still summer that is why sooooooo hot everywhere. I stand to be corrected but the "rainy season" will start around June. This differs slightly each year but you will know when it arrives --- cos it can rain non-stop for 3 days.
