Just Upgraded To Maxnet Adsl2+

Featured Replies

Sawasdee Khrup,

I just discovered this forum : thanks, Khun Prasert, for your many great technical posts !

I'm in Chiang Mai. Yesterday Max Net techs came out and "fixed" my one week dis-connect problem by, they said, now connecting me to ADSL 2+.

Unfortunately they were unable to configure my Zycel P-660HW-T1 v2 purchased only a year ago to work with it. So they have "loaned" me a Huawei router for three days.

I am a former computer programmer, at companies like Adobe, but a hardware person I am not, and configuring routers is really strange to me.

Really appreciate any help on discovering if the Zycel can be used, if it can be used only after some firmware upgrade, or have I got to buy yet another router.

thanks, ~o:37;

Download the latest firmware for your router, the last version improves a lot for adsl2+ like Annex M (which enables 2M upload). Also: the numbers etc. mentioned in the troubleshooting topic all aply to adsl version 1. The status page of the Zyxel should give you enough info about the dsl link. Post any errors here, and I'll try to help out. I have setup several of these white boxes on adsl2+ and they all perform great!
