Hi waiting for UK settlemnt visa for my wife, we used the sms service and have recived the 1st text stating the visa has been passed to the Embassy, what does the next text inform you of and at what stage do they send it, it has been 4week since the 1st text, I guess the 3rd and final text would inform you the visa is ready to collect

From what I have read you are correct. The next message will be that it has been sent back for collection.

Yes I have been keeping tabs on that topic also posted there but didnt get a reply to the ? thanks for the reply, expect to be waiting around 8-10 wk from 3rd April when the application was made, just wondered when I would recieve the next text so I could book my flights

I read your post there after I did the one here. Check that topic for updates. I think it will be getting updated for a while until things get better.

A simple text confirming your application is ready to collect will be recieved.
