Department deputy director-general Somchai Poonsawat said authorities were able to seize eight trucks carrying about 108 tonnes of smuggled sugar on Ekachai road in Bang Bon district, Bangkok. He said the smuggled sugar was transferred to the Customs Department and legal action will be taken against the wrongdoers. ---
