How Do I Remove Progammes From Vista?

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I have a little problem. I am unfamiliar with windows vista but want to remove some progames but cant find where to do this.

Could you please shed some light on this.

Many thanks ....slippery

In the control panel, "Add Remove Programs" is now called "Programs and Features".

Also, click classic view in the left-hand side to make things a little more familiar.

from memory the control panel now hides in the start menu, click start and should be listed, if not

START>Accessories>SystemTools>Control Panel should get it

As with much of windows Vista when you remove programmes it leaves crap behind.

Try this, it is free and works very well, just follow instructions. :)

From a help site:

Add/Remove Programs in Windows Vista

So you say you can't find the Add/Remove programs function in Windows Vista? Well, in Windows XP Add/Remove Programs is in Control Panel under an icon of the same name. But in Windows Vista it has been changed to "Programs and Features".

To locate the Program and Features function:

1. Click Start and choose Control Panel,

2. In Control Panel double click on the "Programs and Features" icon.

3. Here you can find all the programs and items which are installed in Windows Vista.

4. To remove any of them click once on the program you want to uninstall and then click on Uninstall/Change and follow the prompts.

Now wasn't that easy!
