I have an ASUS N10J net book running windows xp , due to a few self induced problems Ive had to use the system restore DVD that came with the computer, which is fine but it just installs the OS , minus all my applications that ive installed over a period of time. I would like make my own full back up ( clone ) including all my applications ,files and folders to a DVD , ( not an external HDD ) that I could then use to restore every thing, should I have a future problem, any advice about the best way to do this would be most welcome.

I'm pretty sure Acronis will back up to DVDs.
