Thai Passports

Featured Replies

G"day all, I was seeking some advice on (1st time) thai passport applications outside of BKK, there is a regional office in ubon can applications be processed here or any other regional office for that matter, or do I have to travel to BKK like the stone age efficiency you sometimes come across in L O S. I would like to take G/F on week,s holiday to laos.

thanking you songhklasid.

All offices can issue new passports.

If you go to the Issan forum and do a search you willl find a topic about the Ubon office location. It is near city hall.

Edit: Link to topic that even has a map: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Address-Ubon...=ubon++passport

Go to this link: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2633.php

and click on department of consulair affairs........

You will get a list of all offices, including all the passport offices . Ubon has only a tel.nr. listed.

Application doesn't take long and the fee is 1,000 baht. You can have the passport send to your home for about 30 baht. You recieve it within a week.
