AyG
Does anyone know the Thai language name for Thai fresh spring rolls also known as summer rolls - these are not deep fried but eaten fresh in rice paper wrappings - thanks! ปอเปี้ยะสด [porpia sot] - though they're not actually Thai - rather, they're Vietnamese. billd766
WHEN my wife makes them (not often enough for me) she also makes a very thin sliced carrot and honey sauce to go with them. I usually burn my tongue on the first few and I am OK after that. The Vietnamese ones I have eaten are usually larger then the Thai ones which are about thumb sized. withnail
I think the Thai version you're thinking of is actually called ก๋วยเตี๋ยวลุยสวน gwui tiew luy suan google the Thai script and you'll get some images of it.
