IsaanAussie
Just a quick note to those who may wish to purchase good quality furniture. We have a local group starting to produce from solid timber at Thai village prices. I love making solid timber furniture, especially in teak. I have been asked to give these guys a bit of a hand and would like to see them succeed. Please PM me with any queries, for those who have a photo or a sketch of what you want, that would help. If not give me an outline and I'll send back some ideas and costs. Isaanaussie
citizen33
Another source of solid teak furniture is Khon Kaen prison. They use various outlets including a stall in Big C's car park.
CoffeeCorner
As i say in a previous post, Hang Dong, Chaing mai was cheap and good quality stuff, i was shipping 1, 40 foot container a month when things were good, stopped doing it about 5 to 6 years ago, bet they are struggling up there these days with the exchange rate as it is.I still have 150 cartwheels stored in Buriram. Hi Thaicoon, Not sure, but I may be looking for a cartwheel in the near future. What size and what price. PM me if you prefer.
