Problem With Google Products Loading

Featured Replies

Anyone else experiencing problems just recently when trying to bring up various Google products - Calendar, Adwords, gmail?

I'm using Maxnet Premiere, and I have make several attempts to get any of these to load. Very unusual.

I can't get into my gmail account today. Starts loading but stops short!

You are not alone!

Several international services are not responding correctly. This could be due to some DNS problems that are reported in other posts or that some major restructuring is going on.

I have experienced problems with the following sites:

Facebook -- no access to static.ak.fbcdn.net

Gmail

Hotmail

Furthermore no bittorrent trackers seems to respond or respond with 'Access Denied 4xx'

EDIT: This is through CAT and TT&T Maxnet

I'm experiencing a lot of weirdness with True at the moment as well.

I can't get into my gmail account today. Starts loading but stops short!

Finally managed to get into Gmail.

Another problem I experienced a few days ago was with Picasa. The thumbnails would not show the actual photo but just an icon. This is now back to showing the actual photo again. Not sure what is going on. Maybe the program loaded incorrectly?

For the past hours I have been getting some proxy timeout errors on Facebook, so I am guessing they are working on it, which doesn't say much.

So relieved that I am not alone in experiencing these problems. It seems that Opera is more sensitive than Firefox. Could this be due to something sinister like Government monitoring on external lines?
