If you are able to book ahead for next year (Jan-Apr) Air Asia have a zero fare sale on until Friday. Only taxes to pay, which makes domestic flights around 230Bt each way. Good value if you can take a chance on such long term planning.

Yeah, I've just booked Bangkok to Phuket return for me and the Thai G/F in March 2010 for a grand total of 1,100Bt!!

Can't knock that.

From today they are also doing zero fares on international, but you'll need to be quick - it's only on until Friday.

They should put me on commission for this..........

Correction of my previous post...

Ryanair has published flight for late november (1,99E each..) but to Stanstead there are only 2 evening flight, connection too tight for Air Asia.

Yes, i know, using 2 lowcost is a risk but after a life with rich airlines now i'm in vacation :) .

Gee I should add 3 low cost, Firefly to samui, but i will stop 2 days in KL...

I hate London, too many airports and Heatrow is a mess speciualized in sending luggage on the wrong place.

But there is a Ryanair flight to Luton arriving at 11:00, Air Asia depart at 23:30, anybody know if there are direct bus from Luton to Stanstead? are both airports south of London?

Both airports are north of London mate, not south. Luton is just up the m1 motorway, Stanstead just up the M11. National express run a transfer coach. see link here

I found all this lot out within 5 minutes using a little known search engine called Google..perhaps you should try it sometime :)
