This is a SERIOUS topic PLEASE!!!!

A male friend recently confided in me that Ejaculation

causes him pain - on both sides of the abdomen.

Intercourse is pleasurable prior to ejaculation.

Has anyone heard of such an affliction before?

Is this a rare condition?

Any advice?

Bill

Could be one of many things. Pain "down there" :o can radiate up through the abdomen. Also could be called referred pain and can be quite difficult to tell where the problem is. The only person that can help is a professional.

The problem with guys is that when they have a problem that involves their sexual organs, they tend to hope it goes away by its self. For what it’s worth, if I had a problem with Mr. Happy, it would be straight to a specialist .

Forgot to mention, when was the last time your friend had his prostrate checked?very important for men, esp over the age of 40.many problems can stem from this.

A daily dose of zinc is supposed to minimise this risk, but regular checkups are advisable for the over 40's. :D

As far as "Mr Happy" is concerned... I agree with you both... go see a doctor. :o

Hmm I'd defo say an infection of some kind, found this on Yahoo health:

In men, the most common causes of pain that occur at the time of ejaculation are prostatitis and urethritis This is often associated with a recent reduction in the frequency of sexual activity.

Time for Mr PP to see the Doc :o

Very true Shola, but urethritis is a different type of pain like a burning sensation with the pain being very localised..normally in the "old fella". :D

I don't want to put the fear of god into William IV 's mate, but just as many men die from testacular and prostrate cancer as women die of breast cancer. it's a crying shame because regular checks can catch this and both types of cancer can respond well to treatment if caught early.Guys just don't want to know about it.

The best thing for a healthy prostrate as Jai Dee says, is regular sex.

Don't worry william IV, the above is only in extreame cases. your mates problem could be very minor.

True. I guess it's probably prostatitis 'coz if I remember correctly, urethritis may cause pain during pee-pee. Anyway, ur friend gotta see a doctor.

Hey chuchok, dont scare his friend. It cant be cancer. Only terminal cancer causes pain. You cannot feel the pain at the beginning of cancer. If his friend can <deleted> still very well as usual, it means he's very strong and no any symptom of terminal cancer.

No, you cannot. :o That's why most cancer are found too late. And only a few cancer patients can be cured and some of them cannot live long.
