I am looking for a cheap but good printer and copy, just a normal standard machine, nothing fancy.

I would like something strong and cheap on daily use of the color cartridge.

What should I buy ?

Stay away from Lexmark, their drivers are pretty much unusable. First I was unable to install the Windows drivers on Windows XP because they result in a BSOD midway through the install. I tried everything but no joy.

OS X still worked, so I installed there. But then the lexmark all in one center application crashed. Seems to be working now, actually, but this is shoddy software.

Cannon 1800 has work great for me for years. :)
