Montenegro Scuttlebutt has it that on the 23rd of May a person called Thaksin Shinawatra will be putting in a bid for the Island of Sveti Nikola (St. Nicholas) 42degrees 16 ' North x 18degrees 51' East. The asking price is around 980 million Baht (or 978,952,460 Baht)

The Montenegrins are said to be not too happy with idea. Even though this Thaksin is said to be a holder of a Montenegrin passport.

On the other hand if the bid is successful it could be a blessing in disguise.
