cscs
Upholstery in the airport lounges is, at least, an improvement. Those metal chairs are uncomfortable and cold. What the airport needs: 1.some soft upholstery for our bums 2. simple wifi throughout 3. a new location for the domestic, ie shorten the walk 4. allow affordable air-bridge use for EVERY airline, EVERY flight (this bus riding is something of the Wright Bros era) 5. some paint, the dungeon look is not user friendly 6. some industrial carpet to soften noise throughout 7. Brighter lighting on in the cave-like passages 8. more seating 9. 10,000 more toilets, better cleaned, and with bum sprayers 10. free water dispensers throughout 11. mute taxi touts, 12. jail for life for any taxi charging a flat fee (mandatory death sentence if refusing to turn on the meter) 13. to get the train running, but connect the bl88dy thing to the underground or BTS which is unlike to happen given the common sense that prevails in Mega Projects Actually it depend on how you look at it. This Airport is relatively new compared to others in the region. The design is very good and effecient. Give them sometime, I think this airport will be #1 is the region. Unlike the design in Singapore. 3 (in fact 4) small terminals. You will find hard to connect to each other via the noisy and in-effencient tram services (why cannt they build this underground?). 3(4) custom/Imm, car part etc. Everything is duplicated and make the running cost so expensive. Another problem with the airport design is they are unable to seperate the arrival and departure passenger. This is always a big security loop holes design and when something lile H1N1 happen - look at how Singapore screen the "potential" passenger ! They do it just before Immgration Queue !!! So H1N1 has already pass round the airport before the passenger get screened !!! By the way, Taxi is never a flst rate in AOT. Dont go to the AOT counter just outside the arriving hall. BTS is going to start soon before end of this end. Edited October 18, 2009 by cscs
